About the DE

Mission

The mission of The Digital Exhibit is to increase access to computer science education by creating engaging, inquiry-driven learning experiences that connect coding, creativity, history, storytelling, and digital literacy. The DE believes computer science education should be accessible, human-centered, and rooted in curiosity, exploration, and real-world connection.

About the Founder

The founder of The Digital Exhibit is an educator and museum professional with experience in computer science education, STEM programming, history, formal and informal learning environments. Drawing from backgrounds in museum education and K–12 coding instruction, the DE was created to bridge the gap between technology education and creative, inquiry-based learning experiences.

Educational Philosophy

The Digital Exhibit approaches computer science education as more than learning how to code. Through storytelling, visual analysis, design thinking, and hands-on exploration, the DE emphasizes the development of computational thinking, creativity, observation, and problem-solving skills. Inspired by museum learning practices, programs are designed to encourage learners to ask questions, experiment, make connections, and actively participate in the learning process.
